Inspiring A New Generation of Role Models. A New Generation of Leaders. Defining The Heroes of Our Future.

Revolution YES (Youth Engaged in Service) is a non-profit organization of global youth activists who are committed to uplifting social and humanitarian causes through positive activism.

Creator and social activist, Lisa Schneiderman had a vision after leaving Hollywood as an Entertainment Publicist to create the good kind of revolution that the Beatles always inspired.  “Our community serves as a social network platform for youth to do it their way — unique to their generation so that they create their own legacy — one that truly reflects how passionate, conscious and committed they are to global social change.  We are so honored to be the cause Treeless Products has chosen to support!” Lisa Schneiderman

I met Alan in 2006 in Ashland Oregon on the set of Conversations with God, the film.  We continually found ourselves talking about the importance of giving back and how we both wanted to start organizations that would serve.  I was really inspired by those conversations and decided to get myself on the red carpet of the 17th Annual pre-party of the Oscars, 2007.  I was normally a publicist who walked celebrities down the carpet and this time I hired a film crew and became a journalist who interviewed the celebrities.  The question I asked was “What kind of legacy do you want to leave on humanity and how do you think Hollywood is influencing our young people?”  The answers were extraordinary and when I got back, I immediately called Alan and told him my idea for a feature documentary film and a foundation for youth.  Being the gem he has always been, it was the perfect project for him to support.  He didn’t hesitate, as he knew this was the cause he had been waiting for as well.  It was because of Alan’s generosity that I was able to launch this cause that is near and dear to my heart.  I am forever grateful to Alan and his continued support and I know together we will continue to make a difference in the world.

“We are living in a time where media has so much influence in everyone’s lives.  I think that puts a greater responsibility on us, in this industry to create things that are positive and empowering.  There’s always going to be different kinds of products out there for different tastes, but ultimately at the end you want to empower humanity and make sure you are creating something that have positive effects. ”
